YAPTON PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE

 

27 April 2009 – At a meeting of the Planning Committee held at Yapton & Ford Village Hall.

 

Present: Mr Faulkner (Chairman), Mr Andrews and Mrs Barnes.

 

Also present:  Mr Tansley (Clerk of the Council).

 

Apologies for absence were received and accepted from Parish Councillor Mr Jones.

 

 

 

MEMBERSHIP

 

14.  The Committee noted with regret the resignation of Mrs Wallbridge as a Parish Councillor and member of the Planning Committee.

15.  Members were reminded to make any declarations of personal and/or prejudicial interest that they may have in relation to items on the agenda.

 

16.  There were no declarations of interest.

 

MINUTES

 

17.  Resolved – That the minutes of the meeting held on 9 March 2009 be approved as a correct record and that they be signed by the Chairman.

 

FORD ECO-TOWN

 

18  With reference to minute 9/2009, the Committee had before them and approved final documents  prepared by the Chairman in response to the Government’s  2nd round of consultation on its proposed eco-town programme. A covering letter to Margaret Beckett MP, the Minister for Housing and Planning, was also approved (copies attached to minute book).

CONSULTATION ON OPTIONS FOR GROWTH PROPOSALS

 

19   With reference to minute 10/2009, the Committee endorsed the response sent by the Clerk in consultation with the Chairman, to the District Council’s ‘Options for Growth’ proposals (copy attached to minute book).
