FORD ECO-TOWN

9. A draft response to the DCLG consultation documents which had been prepared by the Chairman was approved (copy attached to minute book).  The Chairman indicated that the response would need to be updated to take account of the FAVG transport assessment and the recently published financial viability study on the prospective eco-town locations.   Copies of the proposed updates would be circulated to members for comments as soon as possible.

ARUN DISTRICT COUNCIL

CONSULTATION ON OPTIONS FOR GROWTH PROPOSALS

OBJECTION

12.  With regard to planning application Y/1/09/L, the grounds for the objection were as follows:

·         The Parish Council considers the proposal to locate a satellite dish on the front of the property would be out of character with this Listed Building which was sited in a conservation area.  Whilst it was appreciated that a previous satellite dish was mounted at the front of the property, it did look out of place and incongruous with the surroundings.

·         The Parish Council would however raise no objection to a satellite dish being sited to the rear of the building where it would be less prominent.

13.  With regard to planning application FP/26/09/, the grounds for the objection were as follows:
