PLANNING COMMITTEE
12 May 2008 – At a meeting of the Planning Committee held at Yapton & Ford Village Hall.
Present: Mr Faulkner (Chairman), Mr Andrews, Mrs Barnes, Mr Jones and Mrs Wallbridge.
Also present: Mr Taft (Parish Councillor), Mr Tansley (Clerk of the Council) and 4 members of the public.
DECLARATIONS OF
INTEREST
13. Mr Jones declared a personal interest in planning application Y/14/08/ and withdrew from the meeting when the application was considered by the Planning Committee. Parish Councillor Mr Taft also withdrew when Y/18/08/ was considered in view of his personal interest in the application.
MINUTES
14. Resolved – That the minutes of the meeting held on 10 March 2008 be approved as a correct record and that they be signed by the Chairman.

16. With regard to planning application Y/14/08/, whilst no objection was raised to the building and design of the properties, it was noted that the only access arrangements to the site were by way of a private road. Concerns about the access arrangements had been expressed by local residents which the Committee felt needed to be addressed.
