PLANNING COMMITTEE

14 January 2008 – At a meeting of the Planning Committee held at Yapton & Ford Village Hall.

Present: Mr Faulkner (Chairman), Mr Andrews, Mrs Barnes and Mr Jones.

Also present: Mr Taft (Parish Councillor) and Mr Tansley (Clerk of the Council)

Apologies for absence were received and accepted from Mrs Wallbridge.

DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

1. There were no declarations of interest in relation to items on the agenda.

MINUTES

2. Resolved – That the minutes of the meeting held on 12 November 2007 be approved as a correct record and that they be signed by the Chairman.

SEMINAR ON PLANNING FOR TOWN AND PARISH COUNCILS

3. The Chairman reported on his attendance at a seminar arranged by Arun District Council on Planning for Town and Parish Councils (copy of briefing notes attached to minute book).

PLANNING APPLICATION No FP/220/07/

4. The Committee had before them and endorsed a paper setting out the objections/comments submitted to the District Council by the Clerk following consultation with the Chairman in response to Planning Application No FP/220/07/ relating to the Policy Site 6 housing development at Felpham (copy attached to minute book).

5. The Committee noted the contents of a letter from Felpham Parish Council regarding the stopping up of Footpath No 154.
