PLANNING APPLICATIONS

The Planning Committee had before them and considered the following planning application and resolved as indicated:-

Y/21/07/

Proposed 4 new flats.

3 Cherry Avenue Yapton OBJECTION

1) The proposal for four flats is an over development.

2) The building would appear to be larger in size than adjacent dwellings and will do little to complement the existing adjacent buildings.

3) The proposal is un-neighbourly and will damage the character of the adjacent dwellings.

4) The area for vehicle parking is small and will look out of place and crowded when compared with adjacent dwellings.   The area allocated to parking will not provide any spare capacity for visitors to the new flats. This will lead to on street parking at a location where sighting is not good and could lead to accidents.
