ARUN DISTRICT COUNCIL
PLANNING APPLICATIONS
WEEKLY LIST
This is a list of all applications submitted to the Council under the Town and Country Planning Acts and related legislation, under consideration by Planning Services.
Planning applications may be
inspected on line via our website www.arun.gov.uk/planning
or on our public access computers at the Arun Civic Centre,
Comments on planning applications should be made in writing and be addressed to:
The Assistant Director Planning
Services and Housing Strategy
The Arun Civic Centre
Littlehampton
It is possible to make representations on line by visiting our website www.arun.gov.uk/planning. Click into Records and locate the relevant application by clicking into Application Search Post 1987 and enter the application reference number. Once you have found the application, you can make comments by clicking into “Comment on this Application”.
Planning Services operates an 'open file' policy which means that all representations received, including letters of objection or support, are available on the office copy of the file for everyone to see. At the current time, representations from members of the public are not made available on the Arun District Council website although comments from the Town and Parish Council and other statutory consultees are published. If you need advice on any aspect of an application, including the making of representations to the Council about the proposals, please telephone 01903 737756 and ask for the case officer dealing with the application.
All representations will be taken into consideration in the determination of the application but officers are unable to enter into correspondence with third parties in respect of these matters.
In the event of a subsequent
written representations appeal, against a refusal of planning permission on a
householder application, any representations made on the applications will be
automatically forwarded to the Secretary of State and unlike other types of
appeal, there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.
